There is a kind of strange silence being sensed at Poes Garden ( residence of fromer chief minister of Tamil Nadu – Dr. J Jayalalitha) for last few days after the judgment from the Karnataka High Court in disproportionate asset case. The verdict was in favor of AMMA. But there are sound bites from opposite camp citing the arithmetic errors in the judgment.

The Karnataka government is yet to move for appeal on the case. But the arithmetic errors from the judgment trigger series of questions and doubts about it. Senior advocate Gandhi from Chennai did say on the day of verdict, “The Verdict seems to be delivered in hurry”.

Even after a convincing victory in the floor of a court, Amma is in serious meditation. The Case was dragged for 19 long years. The judgment has become subject of debate due to errors of numbers.

Karnataka High Court

The judgment was delivered in seconds, but the debate is long running for last few days. The ruling party of Tamil Nadu wants AMMA to be installed as CM. The present CM is not able to actively participate in government activities for multiple reasons including one being AMMA herself.

AMMA had a brief discussion with present CM, O Panneerselvam and 19 other ministers. The discussion did not carry out any best output per the members of ADMK. AMMA is the life of the party, AMMA sitting outside the power is like party with no blood.

Unfortunately, Tamil nadu is going for polls by mid of next year. Amma is not energetic like before and DMK is still not in a position to get the mileage required for reaching the St. George fort. The State unit of congress is trying its level best to play against the ADMK but they are not threats to AMMA. But the future of AMMA is in the hands of Congress party of Karnataka is a strange coincidence. Tamil Nadu of BJP is confused as ever.

Win or Loss, Amma is the factor in politics of Tamil nadu.
